I earned a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at NYU Silver School of Social Work and a BA at John Jay College of Criminal Justice majoring in Forensic Psychology. I have provided mental health services to the diverse population of New York City who have presented with anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia/eating disorders, low self-esteem, sexual abuse, adjustment and life transitional issues, bi-polar disorder, and co-dependency issues.
I believe that no one approach fits every person or situation, the therapeutic process always begins with the person sitting in the room. People come to therapy to have a deeper understanding of themselves and what has brought them to this point in their lives. My goal as a therapist is to assist my clients to navigate through their life’s journey while empowering them to make healthy choices to improve the quality of their life.
